How To: Add Staff Profiles to your Platform Account
Dealership Tools just launched a recent Staff Profiles upgrade. We have implemented the ability to add your employees’ profiles to the platform and website. Your team can now be displayed on your website. This allows your team to be reached individually and upon request. If a user has already become acquainted with a certain sales person, they will now be able to reach out directly to that specific sales person.
How to: add a staff profile

a. Enter the staff member’s First Name
b. Enter the staff member’s Last Name
c. Select/Add the staff member’s Job Title

e. Add the Office Number with the staff member’s extension
f. Add the Email of the Staff Member

h. Enter a personal description for the staff member. Include things such as where they grew up, what body of water they frequent, what boat they own, what they do for the company. Keep it short, friendly and welcoming.
i. Upload an image of the staff member.
j. Select ‘Save Profile’ to save and exit.

Where will staff profiles display on our site?
Your staff’s profiles will display on your site’s ‘About Us’ page. The profiles will display below the ‘About Us’ content. Allowing your users the opportunity to get to know your staff before coming to your location will give them the chance to know who they should talk to, hopefully eliminating time wandering about and enabling quicker sales.
How to sort the display of your profiles

a. These will be the images of your staff members. The sort order works from the top left, in this case ‘Joe Smith’ and the last profile in this case is ‘Jessica Test’.
b. Select ‘Add Profile’ to add a profile from this page.
c. Select ‘Sort’ to re-sort the order of your staff profiles. Sorting the profile from the top left and down will determine what order your profiles display on your website. Click the button again to save the new sort order.
a. It is suggested that you begin with the owner/ CEO first, then your managers, brokers, marina workers and office personal.
d. Select ‘Inactivate’ to be able to select 1 or more profiles to inactivate. When selected, the green ‘Checkmark’ will turn into a Red ‘X’. Click the button again to save the updates. You will then see whichever profiles that had the Red ‘X’ disappear from this view. They will now be stored in the inactive tab.
e. Select the ‘Delete’ button to delete any profiles. Deleting a profile cannot be undone. Click the button again to save any changes you have made.
f. Select ‘Back to Profiles’ to exit the ‘Sort’ page and return to the listings page for the profiles.
